Letchworth State Park, renowned as the “Grand Canyon of the East” is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs–as high as 600 feet in some places–surrounded by lush forests. There are three large waterfalls within the park, and as many as fifty more waterfalls on the tributaries that flow into it. The three major waterfalls are referred to as Upper, Middle and Lower Falls – the Seneca believed that the Middle Falls were so wondrous that it made the sun stop at midday. The Fall foliage at this time of year is at its peak. It’s as if the colors burst off the shale, limestone and sandstone peaks. This 3-DAY guided photography tour begins with a meet & greet with cameras in hand and finishes with a fond farewell. Come and make new friends as you discover the “Grand Canyon of the East”. This tour will be lead by Rick Berk and Jessica Lempin. Rick and Jessica are looking forward to meeting you!
