MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th, 2016

The sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean viewed from Long Island’s East End is a sight not to be missed. We’ll show you several vantage points from which to capture this spectacle and spend the morning exploring Montauk Point.

After lunch we’ll head to Shadmoor State Park, where we’ll photograph along the bluffs and freshwater wetlands and capture the sandy east end shoreline and black cherry trees that grow within the park. This is an excellent opportunity to photograph shore birds as well.

At sunset, we’ll photograph in Montauk Harbor as the fishing fleet returns for the day with their catch. We’ll explore the harbor area, photographing the fishing boats and their crews in the late-day sun.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th, 2016

The Village of Sag Harbor is chock full of history to be captured with our cameras. We’ll explore the harbor and the village in the early morning light of the sun. Historic buildings such as the Old Whaler’s Church and Old Burial Ground, historical houses, and Upper Sag Harbor Cove.

Later, we’ll spend the day photographing in some of Long Island wine country’s many vineyards, and maybe even sample a few of their wares!

Finally, we’ll head to Cedar Point Park, with its commanding views of Gardiner’s Bay and home to historic Cedar Island Lighthouse, to capture the sunset over the Peconic River and Gardiner’s Bay.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14th, 2016

The day starts with a sunrise at Shinnecock Inlet and Shinnecock County Park. Here we’ll explore the wetlands, photograph the Ponquogue Bridge, Penny Pond, and Wells Creek.
