Above, Telescope Peak Trail weaves past pine trees. North of the spiky salt mounds known as the Devil’s Golf Course, waves of sand abound in Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. Near Nevada is the Spanish-style mansion Scotty’s Castle. This 4-DAY guided tour and in-field workshops will immerse you in a photographer's paradise surrounded by natural beauty in every direction. Your Death Vally Nat'l Park Photo Tour Itinerary

SATURDAY, MARCH 25th, 2017

Arrival & Check-in
Meet & Greet, Tour Overview, Q & A, Sunset Shoot

SUNDAY, MARCH 26th, 2017

We’ll head out early for a sunrise shoot at Zabriskie Point.  After sunrise, we'll drive through 20 Mule Team Canyon with its colorful and diverse badlands.  We'll have breakfast at the hotel.

After lunch, we’ll head out on the West Side Road towards Devil's Golf Course and Badwater Salt Basin.  You'll have a great opportunity to photograph the salt flats, mud patterns, rough salt formations and the vastness that is Death Valley.

We'll end our day shooting the sunset at Badwater Salt Basin and head back to the hotel for some grub.

MONDAY, MARCH 27th, 2017

We'll head back to Badwater Salt Basin for sunrise and a different perspective on the land there.  We'll then travel over to the eastern edge of Death Valley to Rhyolite Ghost Town, an abandoned mining town.  At one time Rhyolite had a population of 5,000.  Imagine all that was left behind.

We'll have dinner in Beatty and then head back to Rhyolite for light-painting night shooting before we head back to the hotel for some rest.

TUESDAY, MARCH 28TH, 2017

Sunrise at the Mesquite Sand Dunes is what we have planned for this day.  The sands should be crisp and wind-blown early in the morning and the shadows will be deep to provide for amazing photography.  Once we've exhausted our fill of photographing the dunes we will head to photograph the carpet of wildflowers that will be in bloom this time of year.

We'll break for lunch and relax a bit before we head out for sunset.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29TH, 2017

We will head our for our final sunrise shoot.  The location will depend on the conditions that we met with during the first days of our tour.  After sunset we'll head back and have lunch before we wrap up our Death Valley National Park Photo Tour.

Weather and road conditions will be considered each day, so we may be having to switch days and locations around for an optimal photographic and travel experience. Breakfast and a bagged lunch are included each day.  Dinner is your responsibility.  We recommend that you pick up and bring your own waters and snacks for your room and for in-field shooting.
